Operations
Operations for division 7 include safety patrols on the lakes around norther Utah, Deer creek reservoir, Utah lake, Jordonelle Reservoir, strawberry reservoir, and others. It also includes assisting the park rangers in search and rescue activities if someone gets lost or hasn't returned. We also work with the park Rangers in training activities, and exercises. To accomodate this effort the following searchs patterns are practiced and can be used:
another usefull tool is the Gar Planning worksheet which gives the coxain a view of safety issues and the feasability of the patrol.
The boats have been put on the water, and we have been on patrol since memorial day weekend.. Coninue to look for us out on the lake. We will have the flags out.
